Just curious how it's coming along. How many more prestige classes need to be submitted? I've been thinking of two or three, if it would help move things along I might just sit down and try to work them out mechanically.

We have more than enough submissions by now. It´s the editing and reviewing that takes time.

Ooo! Care to give us a small sampler of what lurks therein?

--I really enjoyed the first prestige class supplement from athas.org NB

Sure - seeing as how I am heading this project, I think I can give you a peek.

Now got to the Dark Sun Forum Archive and click in there--> Scroll down until you see the section for Classes, and there you go!!! As the Appendix II is all fan created from various members of the board, many of the PrCs that will be in there will be versions of those in the Archive. I say version because we have updated some and so the ones posted may not be the latest verson.

To clear up any confusion though, there is nothing saying that all those in the Archive will make it to the Appendix II, and there will also be some never before posted PrCs as well.

I know I am a crule b-stard, but that is all you will get for now :D

I rather like the combo wizards has done a bit of recently of making a new 20 level class and then a PrC or two to go along with it. It's kinda nice.. is Athas.org doing anything like that? (I haven't really been keeping track)

Based on the Prestige Class list, does Dregoth have specialty templars? I saw that a few SK's do, but not all, as far as I saw. How many SK's do/don't?

Templar of the Scale is in Prestige Class Apendix I on page 48.
I saw that a few SK's do, but not all, as far as I saw. How many SK's do/don't?

All within Prestige Class Apendix I:
Tyr - Black Cassock (p.9)
Draj - Moon Priest (p.28)
Gulg - Oba's Servant (p.32)
Raam - Servant of Badna (p.40)
Balic - Shadow Templar (p.42)
Nibenay - Wife of Nibenay (p.51)
Urik - Yellow Robe (p.52)

I hope that helped.

How do Templars like Black Cassocks still have spells and turning/rebuking abilities? If Kalak really is dead, and he is their source of spells, who provides their powers, or why are they a part of the PrC? If it is a holdover for the class, assuming Kalak lives in one's campaign, then that's fine, but Tithian doesn't have a living vortex, so he can't grant spells, and that means current BC's would have no spells or rebuking powers, I assume.

Ex-templars: A black cassock who abandons his sorcerer-momarch, or whose sorcerer-monarch dies, loses all templar spellcasting abilities. If the black cassock later becomes the templar of another sorcerer-monarch, he immediately regains his full templar spellcasting abilities.
