#1GrummoreAug 12, 2006 10:01:20 | Hi folks, I haven't been on the forum for a while, at least not participating. I am currently reworking on my campaign so we can start again in 2 weeks or so and was wondering about the status of the current projects of athas.org. Here is what I was wondering about : - What's the status of the next core rule update? - Will we have picture in the next release? - What about the DSMM, didnt we talked about a release 4 months ago? (just curious) - Will we have picture in the next release? - What does bring the return of Brax with the release of new product? - What's the status of the new athas.org site flip was working on? - Who work on what right now and who's in charge of what? - What will be the next release of stuff for athas.org. - If you have anything else to add please do! :D Glad to still be around at least! |

#3thebraxAug 16, 2006 2:27:08 | I'm working to bring our Lost Cities project to fruition. I've updated Wisdom of the Drylanders, and have broken Lost Cities into about five diferent projects. First to come out will be Lost Cities of the Trembling Plains, a regional supplement for the area. Next will be Prison-State of Eldaarich. There's also Flamesky, an adventure module set in South Guard, Silt Sailors of the Kulag fleet, which contains discussions of Eldaarich's silt navy, their gold and silver mines on the volcanic Huuros Islands, and everything you always wanted to know about silt skimmers and combat on the silt seas. Then of course there's city state of Kurn. After that the team has considerable work sketched out on New Kurn and other lands farther northward. But my time sadly is nearly up and it may be up to others to finish it without me. What is certain at this point is that I won't be around for New Kurn, and I'd be surprised if I was still directing anything significant when we get around to Kurn I've lost a lot of time getting enthusiastic people up to speed and then having them quit because of changes of plans. I only hope to get the ball rolling that people will continue to move things forward when I'm gone, and maybe we'll see more modules and city-expansions along the line Gab and Jon have done. |

#5thebraxAug 17, 2006 3:21:15 | Hard deadline would be November. I hope to get Lost Cities and Eldaarich done by then, and have the other parts assigned out. I REALLY wish I could do Kurn, but not much chance of that at this point, since three folks had life changes and weren't able to continue (something that I understand, respect, and appreciate!). Anyway, now you know why I've been frantically dropping new tasks on you, RJ, and am very grateful that you've been able to pick up slack! Will Kendrick is leading the Silt Sailors of the Kulag Fleet, and there's a possibility that we might get someone I have a GREAT deal of trust and confidence in to join forces with us to provide the rules for silt combat, but I won't make any announcements until Will and our mystery friend come to agreement. Right now Flamesky is a pretty incredible adventure outline set mostly in South Guard and there's an 75% chance that it will never see the light of day Everyone who's read my 5+ page outline has been very excited about it. Sadly everything else is higher priority and we lack storytellers and organizers that we can depend on. And after my recent experience, I'm hesitant to take more risks and blow valuable time getting some fan that's never done an Athas.org project up to speed, and all the trusted Athas.org oldies seem to be tied up or unavailable. I don't have time for recruiting and training anymore If things go as I suspect, I may just 1. post the adventure outline for Flamesky on Athas.org, 2. stick it in the appendix for PSoE or 3. burn it, cackling in fury. Just kidding about that last one. |

Thanks! :D I think #2 might be a good idea, a good out line for a adventure that a DM can expand on with all the information in the Citystate of Eldaarich book/pdf...if you don't mind, I would like to look at the outline. |

#8GrummoreAug 19, 2006 14:14:37 | Well thanks for the answer and btw, you look like in a rampaging creation Brax no? :D What's up with Jon, Gab and Flip dudes and everybody else? Some of my questions havent been answered yet. Just wondering what's up with athas.org. |
#9jon_oracle_of_athasAug 20, 2006 15:21:27 | That´s because you post so many questions, silly frog! I´m still around, and I´ve been helping Brax with his prestige classes for his Lost Cities et al projects. My access to the athas.org mail server is rather unstable for some reason (perhaps something to do with dns...?), so my participation becomes somewhat sporadic, but avangion revision is part of what I´m doing with the rest of the Epic Bureau. Other than that I mostly coordinate and administer others. ;) |
#10GrummoreAug 20, 2006 20:58:10 | Come on! You've got to know more! Dont you are one of da big boss? :D |
#11elonarcAug 25, 2006 2:42:38 | I am busy learning at the moment and will return to active duty in October. The only athas.org things I do at the moment are the desgning of the avangion and working with Brax on the Lost Cities project. |
