I was wondering if there was a specific defiler wizard kit. If so were is it located?

Kits are a 2ed phenomenon, I believe. You might find some in the Defilers and Preservers accessory (I actually haven't bothered reading the kits section of that book), downloadable for a very reasonable price at RPGNOW.com. If you're asking for prestige classes, I'm less sure about their existence.

The Prestige Class Appendix volume I contains the following defiler-only prestige classes:
Arch Defiler
Leech
Myrmeleon
Royal Defiler

The Dark Sun Forum Archive contains the following defiler-only prestige classes (those I've found anyway):
Monarch's Chosen
Royal Animator

Speaking about defilers... has anyone here tried to develop a different aproach for the defiler? making it different from a normal wizard (i.e. from the preserver) not only by controled access of feats, spells and PrCs?

yeah this is one of several ways I did up the differences between defilers and preservers... I have about a half dozen different magic systems I have worked up.... including one I am working on now which actually has a simple method for explaining the differences between defiling and preserving..... it actually reverses it somewhat....

Defilers are actually gaining higher level spells sooner.... sort of. The two classes use one base class but if you are a defiler or not changes how you cast.

It uses two charts like a sorcerer does, a readied spell chart and a gathering per day chart.

Readied spells are the spells you can have prepared in your mind in a given day and using one depletes it. (and like spells per day for a wizard your int bonus grants you extra spells readied per day.) and uses the same chart as the wizards spells per day

While gathering per day is the number of spells you can cast without resorting to defiling.... you gain an additional bonus number of gatherings as indicated by your Cha modifier for bonus spells (and full defilers are treated as having +1 higher Cha/2 Caster levels for purposes of determining bonus spells. But they lose the familiar ability of the class.) This chart is based on the sorcerer spells known with 2 exceptions. First it has the same number of cantrips as the readied spells table, and second on every level where the readied table gains a new spell level so does the garthering per day table, only the number is a 0.... ie you can only do it if you have a bonus "spell" on the gathering per day table due to high Cha.

This helps fit with how Sadira was able to memorize spells that she could only cast by defiling in the novels.

If people are interested in it I will get it written up on here for you.

I'm really, really interested seker. I really liked this idea of readied and gathering spells chart.

In Defilers and Preservers: The Wizards of Athas (TSR 2445). Namely, the exterminator kit from p. 51

All such defiler-only kits from 2E will appear in Prestige Class Appendix volume II when it comes out, as those kits have already been converted into PrCs, and sometimes by several different people.

Penn isnĀ“t working on that particular project, but his outline is a theoretical possiblity!

Ok, I can read a shut up when I see one. ;) I'll immediately stop plugging for Athas.org, as it is shamefully preferential behavior robbing perfectly legitimate solo conversions, by such fine people as Strutinan, of the opportunity to be read.

Heheh, seriously though, even Brun01 converted half of Preservers & Defilers's kits by himself, so no one needs worrying that a particular PrC will not be present in Appendix volume II. As for their quality, well...that rests to be seen, as those (mine included) were made by fans who are not rules lawyers. I foresee serious feedback will be required for that document. (No kidding?! :D )

That is why we have an editor who works on the classes (Kalthandrix), and then the Senate will decide which classes make the cut and not.
