#1GreenKnightSep 28, 2006 12:25:10 | ...sorry if I'm asking about something that's already been discusses ad nauseum. Anyway, the upcoming Ravenloft book, Expedition to Castle Ravenloft. Is that just a one-off thing, or is there a chance that it could lead to more Ravenloft books produced by WoTC? Just wondering, though either way, I'll be buying the book as soon as it comes out. Thanks. |

It's probably also constructive to keep in mind that EtCR in all likelihood won't be a continuation of the Ravenloft setting in any form. They're going back to the well on this one. Over on the Fraternity of Shadows board, they have a couple of threads going right now about how to "revamp" Ravenloft -- well, this is WotC's answer. |

Browsing through it, one finds many elements from the original I6 module but also a few things which make me raise an eyebrow and go hmmm... Such as: - the Three Hags (Tepest?) - Elf Ambush - Shuhul Ishai-Bal Lastly, it seems WotC (as I anticipated they would) used the opportunity to place a few things from Libris Mortis. On the other hand, I haven't seen any hint of a Heroes of Horror link and that surprises me. |
