Runebound designers Mystara fans?

So the first expansion was "Island of Dread," and now "Sands of Al-Kalim." "Midnight" was based on the company's own property, so it doesn't count.

One might be a coincidence. Two? A conspiracy! Next we'll see "The City of Mirrors" or "The Keep on the Borders."

Anyone play Runebound and know if there are Mystaran Easter eggs in the characters, monsters, or situations?

Oct 09, 2006 10:56:45 Would be nice if they made an RPG supplement based on this. For those who use minis, the game might be worth picking up to scavenge for Mystara relevant miniatures.

Just a thought.

Note that in the design notes Island of Dread is misspelt Isle of Dread, and, according to the same notes (http://www.fantasyflightgames.com/runebounddesignnotes7.html), the goal of the game is to become Immortal ;)
