#1gazza555Oct 10, 2006 9:43:24 | Hi guys I'm having trouble accessing the Vaults, anyone else had that problem today? Regards Gary |
#2zombiegleemaxOct 10, 2006 9:56:18 | I've had problems, too. Geoff |
#3havardOct 10, 2006 9:59:44 | Ditto. Hopefully its just temporary. You really notice how vital this place is when its not here... I'm sure Shawn or whoever will have it fixed soon Havard |
#4agathoklesOct 10, 2006 10:13:19 | Ditto. Hopefully its just temporary. I see it working right now. G. |
#5gazza555Oct 10, 2006 10:40:44 | Yup Regards Gary |
#6Traianus_Decius_AureusOct 10, 2006 13:06:27 | I can get to it, but the gibberish problem with the top part of the page has resurfaced for me. |
#7stanlesOct 10, 2006 18:47:55 | Ditto. Hopefully its just temporary. I was away over the weekend, and am still with poor Internet contact at the moment anyway so I had nothing to do with any problem or the solution. I'll have a look over my correspondence previously with the site managers and see if the old problem that Jamie has mentioned might have resurfaced. |
#8maddogOct 10, 2006 20:03:23 | see if the old problem that Jamie has mentioned might have resurfaced. Now if people would just stop using IE...... That "bug" would never happen. --Ray. |
#9stanlesOct 15, 2006 15:14:41 | Now if people would just stop using IE...... That "bug" would never happen. over 55% of Vaults users use Internet Explorer ... |
#10eldersphinxOct 15, 2006 15:35:58 | over 55% of Vaults users use Internet Explorer ... Hey, that's still a full 25% lower than the population at large, where 82.1% of consumers remain shackled to IE... :D |
#11stanlesOct 15, 2006 15:56:26 | Hey, that's still a full 25% lower than the population at large, where 82.1% of consumers remain shackled to IE... :D wow, OK. That makes me much happier then. |
#12zombiegleemaxOct 15, 2006 16:46:26 | I still have problems with Vaults... I can't see top page, I see "‹…[]¯ |
#13stanlesOct 15, 2006 19:42:13 | I still have problems with Vaults... I can't see top page, I see "‹…[]¯ |
#14HuginOct 15, 2006 21:17:46 | wow, OK. That makes me much happier then. Ya, that's a pretty good number. It was a problem like this before that caused some members here to suggest that I use Firefox and I'm glad I took their advise - I haven't had this problem since. |
#15zombiegleemaxOct 16, 2006 14:11:24 | does this happen on all pages for you Giovanni? All the time? Only certain pages, all the time? [if so which] Or some pages some of the time? First time I open a page it is normal, but sencond time and subsequents ones I see the strange characters I reported... The half top page is inintellegible... |
#16Traianus_Decius_AureusOct 16, 2006 14:57:29 | Shawn- It usually hits me on secondary pages, ie I go to the Resources page and I'm ok, once I go to to New Monsters and Conversions page it is FUBAR. It also can occur when I hit the back button. |
#17HuginOct 16, 2006 16:17:42 | It definately sounds like the same problem we encountered some time ago, given Arcanda's and Traianus' comments. Haven't heard FUBAR for a while! lol. I suddenly want to make an NPC named Fubar with absolutely poor luck and destined to die a horrible death in the near future! :D |
#18Traianus_Decius_AureusOct 16, 2006 16:23:37 | Haven't heard FUBAR for a while! lol. I suddenly want to make an NPC named Fubar with absolutely poor luck and destined to die a horrible death in the near future! :D Is he a wild mage? |
#19gawain_viiiOct 16, 2006 16:34:15 | absolutely poor luck and destined to die a horrible death in the near future! In my dad's old campaign, this character was named Ezekiel. His stats weren't horrible, some were good even... but the player's dice absolutely hated him... By the time he made it to the mid-levels (12-15 and only by the good grace's of my sister's cleric) his originally 17 CON was down to a 6. He was fun to adventure with (as he was not my character) but he earned the nickname "E-Z Kill", much to the player's disdain. But yes, Fubar does sound like a good name... possibly a Halfling? Roger |
#20Traianus_Decius_AureusOct 16, 2006 16:46:22 | ... But yes, Fubar does sound like a good name... possibly a Halfling? or a Sky Gnome that is the envy of every gremilin in Serraine. |
#21stanlesOct 17, 2006 6:35:19 | could people have a look now and see if it's still doing the same thing? Apparently it's been fixed again. |
#22zombiegleemaxOct 17, 2006 13:00:51 | Now it is OK! I can see pages well any time I open them. (Greemlins in your meddling box!) :p |
#23HuginOct 17, 2006 16:25:46 | (Greemlins in your meddling box!) :p Are you sue it wasn't a 'net-gnome' named Fubar? :P :D |
#24stanlesOct 17, 2006 19:48:38 | Now it is OK! I can see pages well any time I open them. cheers Arcanda |
#25zombiegleemaxOct 18, 2006 1:59:37 | Are you sue it wasn't a 'net-gnome' named Fubar? :P :D It's not a bug... it's a greemlin! :D P.S.: thanks Stanley, you are really the backbone of Mystara! |
