#1grodogDec 01, 2006 10:43:03 | Hi folks--- I thought you'd appreciate a quick update. I competed the final portion of editing Tower of Blood last night, and layout had already begun earlier in the week based on the already-finished edits. We're still working on some map changes and fixes, but they should be wrapped up before I depart for London on Monday. Rob said that this is a busy time for the printer, but was optimistic that the turnaround would still be pretty quick. He'll be able to provide a more specific timeline on delivery of the product to him, and his shipping schedule, once layout is complete and the printer starts their processes. David Smith has posted the sponsor list to the PPP web site this morning at http://www.pied-piper-publishing.com/index.php/products/tower_of_blood/tob_sponsors, so please take a moment to validate the spelling of your name and the level of sponsorship you're listed at. If you see any issues, please immediately email Rob Kuntz at rjkuntz@ai5.net so that we can fix them prior to sending the book to print. Look for some additional updates and announcements from PPP over the next few weeks. Thank you for your patience with the extended editing process, and for your continued support of Pied Piper! |
#2grodogDec 02, 2006 9:20:21 | A few users on other boards have requested to have their online usernames added to their real names in the sponsorship listings (which Rob took from paypal payments/account names, mostly). If anyone else wants their online handles added to their sponsorship names, please email Rob to let us know. |
#3zombiegleemaxDec 04, 2006 13:12:39 | I am curious if you plan to sell the new material on Amazon or other similiar outlets? I have only found the material offered on your PPP site. |
#4zombiegleemaxDec 20, 2006 10:21:17 | Did you ever see this question grodog? |
#5qstorDec 20, 2006 13:49:44 | IIRC Rob is just using the PP site for distribution now. Mike |
#6grodogDec 20, 2006 18:38:52 | Did you ever see this question grodog? No, sorry, I had missed it the first time around, since I was on vacation in London from the 4th to 13th. Mike's right, though: at the moment, direct orders are the only means of purchasing the books Rob's releasing through PPP. |
#7chatdemonDec 21, 2006 14:13:08 | Just one question about ToB before I go look for my credit card. Did Rob switch over to the OSRIC "system", or stick with the "generic AD&D" system he was using before? I much prefer the latter. |
#8grodogDec 21, 2006 19:33:01 | Hi Rich--- Rob's actually using the OGL sans OSRIC for Tower of Blood, so it's as close, terminology-wise (HP are HP, not HTK, etc.) as possible to AD&D within the OGL without being an OSRIC-licensed product. I think the old CU system is retired for good now. PS - The Original Living Room level and the Original Bottle City will be announced as products very soon: keep an eye on the PPP forums and website for updates! PPS - Additional leaked details in Acaeum thread @ http://www.acaeum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4894 |
