Cult of Halav

Dec 19, 2006 15:32:09		Has anyone done a full write up on the Cult of Halav form Gaz 1 (notably where the Cleric's get their magic from etc.). I had an idea it might be Hel messing around in a similar way to setting up Balthac in WotI. but this might annoy Halav a touch. Having said that would he be strong enough to oppose Hel?

Any ideas?

IMC the Cult was set up by Halav, but over the years it has been corrupted by agents of Orcus. I chose Orcus because he is much more involved in the region than Hel, and Orcus and Halav are bitter enemies. The latest developments in this situation IMC is that there has been a change of leadership in the Cult. The new leader is a man called Valach, claiming to be the true Halav returned and defying the old idea that King Stefan is Halav. Valach is in fact ofcourse, a Cleric of Orcus. Some of the other cult members are knowing followers of Orcus, but most are simply mislead fanatics.
