#1judicator_shekarJan 16, 2007 14:14:01 | I guess I'll condense a rather complex discussion into one question: Where can I get info. on the Dead Lands? I know that Athas.org is working on a supplement, but I'm sure there was some 2E material that covered the material in a more in-depth fashion than the Revised CS. I guess the same applies to Eldaarich and Kurn. As much as I would enjoy coming up with my own material for many of these places, I'd feel far more comfortable sticking to canon. Thanks in advance. |

The only existing 2e material on the Deadlands, and the Lost Cities, if memory serves is in the Wanderer's Chronicle (2nd boxed set) |

I have heard that there are copies hiding on the net, but have been unable to locate them. I think that this is the stuff you are thinking about, and this would be the material that athas.org is using for the Secrets of the Dead Lands stuff. |

I don't mean to pry, but when will that be? The reason why I'm asking is b/c I'm currently running a DS campaign, and would like to send the party off to a few of these regions. |

I think the game will go on for quite some time though, so I'm really just curious as to the projected release date. On another note, I'm extremely glad that you guys are doing such a great job with the DS3E material. The more I get into DS (My gaming experience is mainly in Planescape and FR), the more mysteries I discover; the more undefined terretory, and the more unanswered questions. Fleshing the setting out in the same way that, say Planescape has been, would have extremely beneficial consequences for the D&D community. With that in mind, I greatly appreciate the stuff that Athas.org is doing to that end. |

Athas.org has that unreleased materials, and has been sifting through it, updating to 3.5, and working toward release. It is called "Secrets of the Deadlands", of which "Terrors of the Deadlands" already has been released (the monster supplement). |
