I was wonder have any of you guys used certain minis to represent characters in Mystara (Aleena, de Ambervilles, the Veiled Society.) The D&D Basic Heroes set did provide a great Rakasta! |

I was wonder have any of you guys used certain minis to represent characters in Mystara (Aleena, de Ambervilles, the Veiled Society.) I'm so glad I have that set! I almost never use minis though. OTOH, I am thinking about using them for my current Blackmoor campaign. We were debating it last time, though it will be more for general reference. I don't want my games turning into anything even vaguely resembling board games. Havard |

They do not substitute descriptions or restrict what appears IMC. They do make visualizing certain combat situations easier, especially when in conjunction with an erasable surface. |

I can see merit in using them for very complicated fights, but we've made due without them since OD&D's heyday. |
