Other than the stat found in EtCR is there another set of Strahd Zombie stats in any of the WW RL material?

Thanks in advance.

Denizens of Dread/Darkness, but the CR is waAAaay off. Plus, IIRC, they're also in Gaz1.

Three. One of which (Volume II) was an NPC book.

How so? To low?

Too low. MUCH too low. They're rated at almost equal to a regular skeleton and can walk though a party of level equal to the listed CR.
DoD is an example of how not to write a book of monsters and how not to apply game balance.

Game balance is rather new, RPGs really didn't embrace it until the later stages of 3E and most of the 3rd Party game lines and designers still have a shaky knowledge.
DoD is just what happens when you combine shaky game knowledge, half-assed updates from 3.0 to 3.5 and no concept of balance.

Anyone know of any decent fan created stats for Strahd Zombies? The ones in EtCR are alright, but I don't feel they accurately capture the flavor of the 2e ones.

Go with the Gaz I version. It's a template, for one thing, which is handy since the whole monster concept is a variant on a template.

I'll take a look at that. Thanks for everyone's input.

I disagree, game balance is something that's been around for years in rpgs. I can name a dozen RPGs that have good game balance. L5R, 7th Sea, and Deadlands are just three. It's quite possible the S&S stuff is off mechanically but in contrast, it gets an A+ for its theme elements, particularly the the DM book, which actually teaches scare and horror elements in RPG, which could be used for a number of systems. There are many interesting creatures in that DoD book and with a bit of tweaking they work just fine.
