#1lord_of_the_uttercoldJan 28, 2007 14:29:21 | Hello all! I'm looking to start a 3.5 Dark Sun (pre-revised) game. I'm planning on using the [very] well done publications from athas.org and the SRD but I'm considering letting in a few more D&D publications. It looks like desiccation damage based spells from Sandstorm would be a good fit: it's a bit more power for the arcane casters but they need a boost to get back to the original Dark Sun in my opinion. The Erudite from Dragon/Complete Psionic and even the WotC website looks like a good fit for Nibenay (the Shadowking and some city members). Is there a consensus on non SRD sources for Dark Sun? |

I personally like the environment rules Sandstorm uses, along with the spells and the dessication rules, and I use them in my games. It is not something we will use on official releases, though... |

Dark Sun r6 PHB PHB2 XPH Unearthed Arcana Complete Psi Untapped Potential Hyperconcious I know other players are using tons of sources, some even third party, we all are having a blast and so far all seems to be in the spirt of Dark Sun |
