The only indication (if you consider it canon) is drawn from the WG8 Fate of Istus (2e) module where they are described as having adopted the martial arts of the (foreign monastery of the) High Scarlet Order, a monastic order from Kara-Tur (from the 1e Oriental Adventures accessory). I wish I could be more precise. Sorry. |
#3zombiegleemaxJan 30, 2007 10:28:50 | Wasn't there something about specific martial moves in the SB source book somewhere (the retrofitted 2e monk rules)? I don't think it was anything as specific as a style of martial art, but it might be a clue (if I haven't just imagined the whole thing). |

It is non-canon but partially based on the Baklunish Delights articles by ERik Mona. Also they are geared towards 1E mechanics. Still the flavour is great. The Splintered Mind, Rebels of the Scarlet Brotherhood describes a small group of monks, psions, and rogues who work in secret to derail the plots and plans of the Scarlet Brotherhood.
