In researching new spells and Epic Research, is the cost converted straight to Cp or is it Gp? So if Epic lists 18,000Gp is it 18,000Cp or straight Gp? How about Magic Item manufacturing? Do you directly convert Gp to Cp or is it straigh Gp as well? So bracers listed as 64,000Gp are 64,000Cp? |

About items, I personnaly keep the augmented value for metal, magical weapons and armors while calcluating the weapon's or armor's value. For example, a +1 bone longsword is valued at 2,315 Cp (315 Cp (mwk bone longsword) + 2,000 Cp (+1 bonus)), while a +1 metal long sword is valued at 33,500 Cp (315 gp (mwk metal longsword) + 2,000 Cp (+1 bonus)). I don't count the material cost of the weapon to consider if it is epic, as per the normal epic rules stated in the DMG. |
