I even invented a mount called a Wag (play on worg) that was a giant dachshund that also helped halflings dig burrows. I just don't know how any of this would fit into mystara. I orginially came up with the idea for Wags to solve the problem of using halfing character for the Black Knight module for Thunder Rift. What do you guys think Halfling Outriders in Mystara? |

The idea of giant dachshound as halfling mounts is hilarious, and therefore well suited for Mystara. Maybe not in the Five Shires (too much established lore already) or Leeha (too northern), but there are other halfling holdings that have not been sufficiently explored (e.g., in Davania) where these riders could fit. Keep in mind though, real dachshunds were originally bred to hunt burrowing animals in their own dens (hence the stretched out, "low-rider" look). What were these halflings running into on a regular basis that required them to breed giant dachshunds to ride around on? |
