#1chatdemonApr 02, 2007 10:53:15 | I'd like to formally request that one (any one, really) of the "oh waaah, there's no greyhawk hardback" threads be stickied in this forum, and the clones of such topic be locked/deleted/sent to rot in whatever passes for purgatory in one's religion. Please! Reading this garbage over and over and over and over and over for the past 3 or 4 years has gone well past tiresome. |
#2mortellanApr 02, 2007 12:12:13 | "oh waaah, there's no greyhawk hardback" hehe, is this what we should call the sticky thread? I agree though it's like a rite of each season to bring up that topic. |
#3chatdemonApr 06, 2007 13:38:11 | Hello? Do any wizos even read this forum? Hello? |
#4The_JesterApr 06, 2007 18:38:36 | Are we surprised? The Other Roleplaying Worlds forums are the forgotten children, I'm surprised WizOs even come in during cases of flaming and harassment. You could probably pop on here or the Ravenloft board or the Mystara board insult someone's mother, nationality, ethnicity and gender while spewing as many four-letter words as possible and it'd take a week for anyone to notice. ;) |
#5chatdemonApr 06, 2007 22:54:38 | hehe, is this what we should call the sticky thread? I agree though it's like a rite of each season to bring up that topic. In all seriousness, I propose a stickied topic along the lines of "Greyhawk Product Requests", and an announcement that posts of that nature belong there. |
#6ArgonApr 06, 2007 23:41:18 | I say we do the opposite lets start a new Greyhawk Product line request each day leave no posts in any of them except the orginal thread starter and see how long it takes the Wizo's to find out. LoL! |
#7mortellanApr 07, 2007 5:27:34 | I say we do the opposite lets start a new Greyhawk Product line request each day leave no posts in any of them except the orginal thread starter and see how long it takes the Wizo's to find out. LoL! That could be quite a while. I remember getting reprimanded once in PM for discussing novels on the FR boards within the day of my posting, so I took the discussion of novels to this forum and never got noticed. |
#8zombiegleemaxApr 07, 2007 9:13:51 | Why complain? If you dont like the material dont read it. |
#9The_JesterApr 07, 2007 10:20:32 | I think they skim for ads and likely ignore anything that doesn't catch their eye (or pop up on a forum search). But for how few of them there are they have their work cut out for them on the main boards. However, I do like the irony that, on a board even moderators ignore, people start petitions. Heh. |
#10chatdemonApr 08, 2007 1:53:03 | Why complain? If you dont like the material dont read it. If everyone who posts here agrees to label their threads "hey, im going to gripe about wotc not putting out gh books", fine. |
#11ORC_ParadoxApr 08, 2007 4:04:22 | If I sticky a thread named "Greyhawk product requests", people will wrongly assume WotC is taking requests for future products. |
#12AmarilApr 08, 2007 10:27:28 | If I sticky a thread named "Greyhawk product requests", people will wrongly assume WotC is taking requests for future products. then name the thread something that won't give that impression, and start the thread with a message indicating that WoTC is NOT taking requests. |
#13The_JesterApr 12, 2007 10:21:00 | If I sticky a thread named "Greyhawk product requests", people will wrongly assume WotC is taking requests for future products. So what's an alternate name? One less committal. "Unofficial Petition Thread"? |
