The main theme and "Mina's Photo" were the ones I mainly used for Strahd himself. (of course, back then, Strahd didn't look like a poncy Anne Rice reject, so the music was fitting...) :P |

I was sadly disappointed when WotC released the Strahd miniature. Appalling, to say the least. However, to the actual topic. Check out the Van Helsing soundtrack, there are a few worthwhile tracks there. Interview with the Vampire - Track 1 Libera Me Revenge of the Sith - Track 4 and Track 6 Hope this helps, I'm a big fan of using music behind all of my games. |

I personally think the 3.x Ravenloft art was of a more consistently high quality than the older stuff (yes, old RL had Stephen Fabian, but it also had the sub-fanart work in Islands of Terror, the cheap clip art in Requiem, and a very poor Van Richten portrait in the interior art for Bleak House). |

#8humanbingApr 24, 2007 12:02:27 | You didn't like Stephen Fabian's work? I loved his artwork. In my opinion, three artists really defined Ravenloft, and those were Stephen Fabian (early 2nd ed.), Talon Dunning (late 3rd ed), and Mark Nelson (late 2nd ed). All three of them worked primarily in black and white, and all three have distinct artistic styles. Talon's work is much more similar to Mark Nelson's. Fabian is almost a style unto himself. |

Nine Inch Nails: Head like a hole Metallica: For whom the bell tolls AC/DC: Hells Bells Type O Negative: Black Number One Testament: Souls of Black Slayer: Raining Blood Rob Zombie: the Hellbilly Delux album has lots of horror based songs that are spooky and menacing. The Sinister Urge has several more songs that are horror based but not as good as the other. Prodigy: Breathe I hope this list will help give your campaign a grim and menacing feel when villains such as strahd emerge. |
#10zombiegleemaxMay 02, 2007 13:21:22 | It seems 'Sympathy for the Devil' works out pretty well. If only the things the 'Unknown Man' are talking about were Ravenloft related |
#11Righter8May 06, 2007 15:01:11 | Issac Hayes' theme "Shaft". Although some alterations could be tailored. SHAFT Who's the dark guy afraid of pointy sticks That's a sex machine to all the chicks? STRAHD! Ya damn right! Who is the man that wants to bite the neck Of his brother man? STRAHD! Can you dig it? Who's the cat that won't cop out When there's danger all about? STRAHD! Right On! They say this cat Strahd is a bad mother SHUT YOUR MOUTH! I'm talkin' 'bout Strahd. THEN WE CAN DIG IT! He's a complicated man But no one understands him but his woman LORD STRAHD! |
