#1stmageApr 23, 2007 14:11:06 | When Raist and Caramon travel back in time they set up some kind of challenge to get the dwarves and the Barbarians to work togeather. Does anyone remember the specifics of the test/challenge or have a link to the description? Thanks in advance. |
#2zombiegleemaxApr 23, 2007 20:18:53 | It had something to do with getting the weapons that were on greased poles in a place of mud. Both races had to work together to get the weapons. |
#3zombiegleemaxApr 24, 2007 14:49:03 | If it helps any the sword was named The Longsword of Friendship and the axe was named the Battleaxe of Brotherhood ^_^ |
#4DragonhelmMay 01, 2007 22:09:39 | The Axe of Brotherhood features prominently in the module Flint's Axe. It's also known as Flint's Axe and the Tharkan Axe. |

#6zombiegleemaxMay 10, 2007 19:40:46 | The whole ordeal was a pole was placed in a mud pit. The pole was greased, and at the top, through a loop in the wood, where the two weapons. The dwarves sank in the mud, the plainsmen couldn't quite reach it. I remeber the pole was ironwood, so when they dwarf tried to chop it down, it was pretty funny. The 2 races had to work together to reach the weapons. |

#8cam_banksMay 10, 2007 20:10:42 | I wonder what ever happened to the sword of friendship? It's in the Legends of the Twins sourcebook; the barbarian chieftain who took part in the aforementioned contest bears it, and so we included it in his stat block. I don't think it's been mentioned since, although somebody may have included it in a short story at some stage. Cheers, Cam |
