#1CthulhudrewJun 01, 2007 22:05:48 | Hoping someone can help me- the scans of the Red Steel maps that I have aren't the best quality. I can't read the names of a couple of the towns north of Yavdlom. There's a fortress to the southeast of Kastr (Vastrovek, it looks like), but I can't tell what the name (or size) of the settlement between there and Kladanovic is, nor can I discern the names of the tower to the northeast of Slagovich (in hobgoblin territory), or the settlement (looks like a village) in Gnoll territory, along the trade road to Sind. Anyone help me out? (PS, does anyone else have access to the Search function again? Cool!) |

Bukovosko, indeed a village (ruined, according to RS; Hovever, RS maps marked 1/3 of all settlements at the SC as ruined...) |

I think the reason a lot of the settlements were marked as ruins in Red Steel is to reflect the effects of the wars of 100-1010 AC; IIRC, many of the supposedly "ruined" ones in the SC area are still listed with populations. Kind of an odd choice, but I believe that's what they were going for. |
