Markovia and G'Henna?

Jun 28, 2007 6:17:18 In DM terms, Markovia became an island not far from the west side of the Core, in the Sea of Sorrows. This was to be more in keeping with its status as Dr. Moreau's island.

G'Henna became a free floating island of terror in the mists. The designers thought the domain was too barren to fit in well with the rest of the Core.

In terms of in-game public knowledge, I'd say only sages know about this. Markovia's horror elements were relatively well hidden, but G'Henna was infamous as a religious theocracy that starved its own people, so I doubt many people would be sad to see them disappear from the Core.

You can find out more about G'Henna in the 2nd ed. adventure (which I think is also post-Upheavel but I can't remember for sure) "Circle of Darkness".
