#1razorboyAug 07, 2007 0:42:52 | Hi. I'm going to be starting a Ravenloft campaign in a couple of weeks, and for a change of pace my group wants a wilderness survival/dungeon crawl game with a desert twist so Amber Wastes are a natural choice. However, there's not much info on the cluster in the Third Ed/3.5 books. Are there any 2nd ed modules set in the Amber Wastes and/or books with info on the cluster? Thanks in advance. |

#4gonzoronAug 07, 2007 11:31:24 | it's a 2nd edition supliment that introduce several island domains and elaborated on some existing ones. not a module as such, more like an extension to the campaign setting. glad to be of help. |

From the very interesting Domain of the Month: Amber Wastes thread on the FoS boards: Third edition info: RL3E / RLPH Second edition: Black Box (Realm of Terror), Red Box (RL Campaign Setting), Domains of Dread Har'Akir specific - Darklords, Monstrous compendium II (Senmet), Touch of Death, Chilling Tales Pharazia specific - Islands of Terror Sebua specifics - Darklords Other selected interesting sources: QtR# 5 (many articles); Qtr 1 ‘Shuraz’tun Kir’ (pocket domain in Pharazia) QtR = Quoth the Raven netbook. I was always amazed with how much Abu from werebeasts reminded me of Abu from Touch of Death. When I DMed TOD, the group left Har'Akir with little Abu in tow.......When I read Werebeasts I started getting these great ideas about "whatif little innocent Abu was not so innocent after all"..........the group fell aprt though and nothing ever coame of it. |
