#1 trunksxo Aug 08, 2007 2:38:15	Hey. This is kind of a funny question. I'm running a one-shot Castle Ravenloft game in just over a week, and I want to serve some thematically appropriate food. Now, the people who this is for include underage people, so the good wine is out. Also, I'm serving it at a game store, so I need to be able to transport it. Thanks for any ideas.
#2 kwdblade Aug 08, 2007 5:54:06	During the adventure, Strahd asks them if they want to have dinner with him, so you could serve a large stuffed chicken or other meaty meal. Anything red would do to drink, it doesn't HAVE to wine, but I recommend it not be blood either, most people are turned off by the iron taste. Whatever it is, make sure its something that they dont need utensils for (such as the chicken I reccomended). Its just satisfying to watch a player who plays a less-than-civilized character wave a drumstick in the air while chomping vigorously, and still roleplaying.:D

(Heart goulash? Brains in dough? :P) Also, remember that some of the ingredients wouldn't be native to the central Core (e.g. herring is a saltwater fish), so can be ruled out as options.
