Two questions.

1. There was a great maps page that someone linked to a few months back and since then I've lost the link. Someone had done an awesome job with photoshop and produced some high quality work.

2. Why doesn't this forum get more than two pages of love? Surely WotC should realize that they are sitting on a goldmine of Dark Sun Fans.

Thanks in advance,

Because the default setting of the forum is to only display threads from the last month. Scroll down to the bottom of the list of threads and on the left you'll be able to change your forum display settings.

Was it this: http://ds.daegmorgan.net/?

If so, does anyone have the link to the original thread were this map was made and fleshed out?

Look into the Dark Sun Forum Archive. It's under the Search word "cosmological"....

Yes. I can download, but I cannot unzip them. It tells me unknown compression.

Very weird. They are working from this end. What OS and unzip program are you using? Is it any particular file/you have downloaded more than one of them?

Have you tried 7-zip? (I don't use it myself, but I recommend trying it as I have been told it can solve problems like this.)

Yay! Good deal.

Wow, DOS! Hrm, that could be the problem: I'm thinking there must be something about the compression program that was used to make the files that whatever DOS-based program you were using just couldn't read. I'll have to see if I can find out what program compressed them.

BTW, what program(s) did you try before 7-zip to try to unzip the files? (I'd like to put a warning up on the site for anyone else who might have the same problem, plus I'm a tech geek so I just like to investigate problems.)

:OMG! You deserve an award of some sort. I can't believe anyone uses DOS as their sole OS these days. I am a Vista man myself and unlike others, I have zero problems with it.

Just kidding....I use windows millenium. My other computer uses '98. I have the two worst operating systems...

DOS was a pain in the butt for me to figure out when I first started computing.

No, I believe Vista is the new runner up to replace WinME for the worst Windows version ever.
