#1Band2Aug 14, 2007 10:24:38 | There is a thread on the gleemax board for the old setting you most want reprinted. Not too many Dark Sun voters there yet. They are posting the votes in this thread: http://forums.gleemax.com/showthread.php?t=875750 The results are being tabulated here: http://forums.gleemax.com/showthread.php?t=886669 Dark Sun is only third so far. |

#3elonarcAug 15, 2007 6:24:37 | Doesn't this quote form the above mentioned thread give all from athas.org a warm feeling? For me it does definitely. of the old settings (many or most of which i never got a chance to play) i would like to see spelljammer back (and not the shadows of the spider moon imitation brand either... you may as well just tell people to get their greyhawk fix by playing forgotten realms). |
#4jon_oracle_of_athasAug 15, 2007 11:28:42 | Aww... isnĀ“t that sweet? :P |
#5cnahumckAug 15, 2007 12:01:03 | It makes me feel all warm inside... Wait, no, I'm just gathering spell energy.:P |
#6greyormAug 15, 2007 12:56:12 | I want to see Birthright DarkSun. No, not Birthright AND DarkSun. Birthright DarkSun: Athas statted out and detailed as a realm-based/rulership campaign similar to Birthright, where you play the leaders. Sorcerer-Kings, the heads of merchant houses, the leaders of slave tribes, etc. all vying for scarce resources on a continent-wide playing ground and scheming to survive Athas' future. Ok, I know, that's not an "old" setting. But I can dream. |

#10NefalAug 17, 2007 1:39:40 | It reminds me of this petition to see DS reprinted...some years ago. Anyone remembers where is it? |
#11jon_oracle_of_athasAug 17, 2007 13:05:45 | The question is whether such polls and opinions even have the slightest effect upon decision makers. |
#12ruhl-than_sageAug 17, 2007 23:59:09 | The question is whether such polls and opinions even have the slightest effect upon decision makers. The answer: Yes, they amuse them :D |
#13hunterccAug 18, 2007 8:25:18 | Somewhere in that thread they claim that WoTC is paying attention to it, how true that is I guess we'll find out |
#14jon_oracle_of_athasAug 19, 2007 8:35:21 | The answer: Yes, they amuse them If they are aware of their existence and go through the effort of viewing the results. ;) |
#15ruhl-than_sageAug 24, 2007 23:28:13 | Yah, I remember that old petition had more then 600 signatures. I can't remember how long it ended up being in ....the end though. |
