#1mortellanAug 17, 2007 14:46:43 | Greyhawk in Dragon goes out with a bang this month. I got the last print issue at gencon and it is bursting at the seams with GH lore. Some but possibly not all features: Unsolved Mysteries of D&D Includes such pondering issues as "Who is the mysterious 'Y' in Maure Castle?", "What is the Serpent?" and "Where did the spaceship come from?" Demonomican of Iggwilv Not on any notable demon lords but has guidelines to make you own. 1d20 Villians My favorite article in the issue. GH gets over half of the 20 villains. My main man Eli Tomorast got in there too! Treasures of Greyhawk Written by Gary Holian and Rick Miller, this has a dozen items made by the old adventuring group of Zagig Yragerne. Stuff like Murlynd's Hat, Heward's Bell and the Robe of the Mad Archmage. This article will also be immediately useful for anyone running Expedition to the Ruins of GH. Wizard's Three Mordy and Elminster one more time. Can't complain. Demon Days The last Savage Tide tie in. Forgotten Faiths Raxivort finally gets some love with a short write up including his portfolio and domains. That's about it. I will be blown over if Wizards can continue to put out HALF this much Greyhawk content in their digital version of the mags. I read that the D&D content they will put out will be released on the website fairly consistently and then colated into monthly collections. This is nothing new of course except now you pay for the articles they once put on their site for free I guess. So yes I'm keeping my expectations waaay low from here on out especially given the recent Gencon announcement of 4e. |

Raxivort, however, hasn't been forgotten at all. Not by me. Isn't he listed in the LGG? Kinda a poor choice for a forgotten god. I'm also against things like this - adding just another god of x - don't we have enough old, forgotten and retired retreads? Be Well. Be Well Missed, Dragon. Theocrat Issak |

Dragon will continue with the Demonomicon series with Grazzt. And Dungeon will have a complete revision of the Lost Caverns of Tsojcanth! Sounds like slush pile articles that paizo was scheduled to release and Wizards couldn't dismiss, but still, about time with Grazzt! |
