DLNexus Account/Password Issues.

Oct 05, 2007 4:45:56 Ok so something happened on my pc and all my login screens got cleaned, so i have to enter the account name and pw again and save as logged in.

But, my password no longer works on my DLN account and the bigger problem is The Email of that account is over 2 years expired so i cant get a new password. can one of the Admins from the Dragonlance Nexus pm me, like Dragonhelm, so i can send them my current email and have them fix so i can recover my PW?

thanks, if that doesnt work its been a pleasure, but i cant log in anymore.

Oct 17, 2007 5:27:40 ok so i made a new account a few days ago on the nexus, and now i cant access it, the password seems to have been changed, i wrote my password down, it was all lower case letters, and now it doesnt work.

the password recovery does not even recognise my email address anymore.

both accounts have differant passwords, so im dumbfounded as to how this can be happening, my only idea as to how this can happen is someone with the ability to see/change passwords on the nexus just doesnt like me. i just cant believe this is happening.

my ability to be a member of the nexus has been removed by someone and as far as i know i have never broken a rule or offending anyone on purpose. iv been a very respectful and supportive member for a few years now, atleast i think i have. and i dont know if anyone else is suffering from this same problem.

i just cant imagine a mod or admin doing this, everyone on the nexus is very cool so i dont get it at all. i dont understand how my password can just stop functioning or be changed. i type it in exactly the same as it suppose to be and it still doesnt work. like i said i dont believe an admin or mod would do this, i know most of them and they are good people.

when i try to recover the password. one of my emails is no longer recognised by the feature and the other gets a permanent 24 hour expiration notice each time. so there is no way for me to change it again.

i have a feeling if i make a new account it will just keep happening. so i can no longer participate on the forums which is a real let down.

not sure whats going on.

E-mail me at trampas (at) dragonhelm (dot) net and I'll work to make it right. Trust me when I say it is nothing purposeful. There's just something going on causing a problem, and we need to figure out what it is.
