#2extempusNov 23, 2007 23:50:51 | In both Greyhawk Adventures and the From the Ashes boxed set... probably other places as well... |
#3GreysonNov 24, 2007 12:09:09 | Another good source is 1992's Monster Mythology. It has lots of non-human deities for Greyhawk and other settings. Also check out the World of Greyhawk's boxed set, both the Guide and the Glossography offer some details on the human deities of Oerth. |
#4thanaelNov 26, 2007 12:38:50 | In 1E/2E there is unfortunately no single source for the Greyhawk deities like the 3E Living greyhawk pdf. The info was scattered about, with some deities being detailed here, some there. The 1e Temple of Elemental Evil has Iuz and St Cuthberts' stats. Other sources: World of Greyhawk Boxed Set, Greyhawk Adventures HC, From the Ashes Boxed Set, The Scarlet Brotherhood (suel deities), Slavers (Murlynd). Monster Mythology has many interesting non-human deities. The true gems though are in the magazines. Dragon and Polyhedron (and Oerth Journal) specifically. Even though some info may be superseded later in the 1E or 2E products the magazine articles are a wealth of information and often carry that unmistakenly 1E flavor. The old 1E articles and the Oeridian gods in Dragon are all awesome! Go get yourself the Dragon archive! The Oerth Journal netbook has great Faiths & Avatars style articles on some deities. I remember only Norebo, and Wee Jas though there are certainly more Here's the link: http://www.oerthjournal.com/oerthjournals.html The deities section from From the Ashes was made available as a free download by WotC at some time. It is still available at canonfire: here This site has some of the Deity info from the World of Greyhawk Boxed Set: The Greyhawk Compendium also has some great info (and a very nice layout!) This site has some material from FtA and some of the very hard to find articles on Greyhawk gods from polyhedron magazine.
