#1flipMay 26, 2008 22:55:46 | So ... highly experimental at the moment, and the look isn't at all integrated with the rest of the site. I'll probably be fiddling lots over time... http://arena.athas.org/ I spent a part of the weekend getting it to function as a single sign-on with the main athas.org site, which means that accounts created here will carry over to the main DS site. Going to be pointing the athas.org signins there as well. |
#2phoenix_mMay 26, 2008 23:19:33 | Doesn't seem to like me, I'm having issue trying to sign-up. I keep getting a "HTTP 500 Internal Server Error" |
#3flipMay 26, 2008 23:54:26 | Bah. I stuck in a check to deal with checking the passwords for all us legacy users (using a different hashing scheme ...) and forgot to check against the nil case. It should be good now. |
#4KamelionMay 27, 2008 4:28:51 | I've signed up as Kamelion (although it doesn't show me on the users list) but don't seem to be able to log in - every time I try, I just end up back at the login page. |
#5GrummoreMay 27, 2008 7:22:24 | Doesnt seems to have signed me. And as Kam, I keep get myself on the main page and I cannot post or create thread. |
#6flipMay 27, 2008 8:25:31 | Yeah. Because it's _supposed_ to send out a confirmation email with one of those links you click to activate your account. However, the mailer appears to be broken. I've activated all the pending accounts, and I'm going to force-skip this step until I have a chance to fix the mailer. Grummor, you already have an account. Same one you used for athas.org |
#7KamelionMay 27, 2008 10:52:57 | Cool - looks good now. Thanks! |
#8greyormMay 27, 2008 17:24:17 | Cool. You want spiffy DS-inspired graphics and a CSS design for that thing? I'd be happy to oblige. |
#9PennarinMay 27, 2008 20:46:19 | After registering, the site lost its gloss look and became wirry frames, with links that lead to nothing... |
#10GrummoreMay 27, 2008 21:52:36 | Yeah. Because it's _supposed_ to send out a confirmation email with one of those links you click to activate your account. Nooooooo! :D There is a missing "e" !!!! Grummore! ;) |
#11flipMay 28, 2008 12:40:28 | Cool. You want spiffy DS-inspired graphics and a CSS design for that thing? I'd be happy to oblige. Sure. I'd even like 'em for the main site. I'm decent with CSS, but my graphics skills are ... well, those of your typical programmer. |
#12greyormMay 29, 2008 12:27:45 | Sure. I'd even like 'em for the main site. I'm decent with CSS, but my graphics skills are ... well, those of your typical programmer. Heh! (Strangely, I actually know a lot of artsy programmers.) But: cool. I'll get something put together after my current illo. contract is finished up and we're done moving. I'll e-mail you when I need the raw site layout/html/code to work on. |
#13Kye_TyradMay 30, 2008 8:47:21 | The email setup works...sort of. I ended up recieving two emails stating to activate my account. Each email contained a different activation code. Otherwise it signed me up and activated my account. |
