Setting-specific websites

I think most of us who favor a particular setting are aware of other websites devoted to that setting, but that may not be true universally. And if we'd like to find out more about another setting, we'd probably be completely in the dark. So I thought it might be helpful to list some of the setting-specific sites. I'll list the few that I know, but I hope that others will add to the list.

EDIT: Here's what we've all come up with so far. I've also added links to the Wikipedia articles about each setting.

Good idea for a thread. We have a similar concept on each of the setting's forums on The Piazza. Everybody is new to a website at one point or another and this could help someone discover something they didn't know about before.

I'll need to add a Dark Sun section too, soon.

Dark Sun
athas.org

This should be:
Dark Sun
The Burnt World of Athas (Official fansite)

Dragonlance
Content: The Dragonlance Nexus
Forums: The Dragonlance Forums

You can add this DL fansite to your collection:
The Kencyclopedia

(There were a lot of other DL fansites, but most are now archived at Dragonlance Nexus.)

You forgot to mention Forgotten Realms:
Forgotten Realms Campaign Setting Homepage (Official WotC webpage)
Content: Candlekeep
Forums: Candlekeep Forums
Northern Journey (free FR adventure campaign)

Greyhawk
Canonfire.com
Maldin's Greyhawk
Anna's Greyhawk maps
Grodog's Greyhawk links

The top should be replace with:
Content: Canonfire!
Forums: Canonfire! Forums

(Note that there is an exclamation mark in the title.

You can also add this to the bottom of your list:
Greyhawk Online (free webhosting for Greyhawk related websites)

(Visit the above page to expand the number of GH links in your list.)

I think you should also add the Living Greyhawk links:
Living Greyhawk (Official WotC webpage)
DM's Challanges (Official WotC webpage for high level LG campaign)

Sheldomar Valley (Living Greyhawk Metaregion 1):
Bissel (Official LG fansite)
Geoff (Official LG fansite)
Gran March (Official LG fansite)
Kingdom of Keoland (Official LG fansite)
Principality of Ulek (Official LG fansite)
Yeomanry (Official LG fansite)

Tuflik, Fals and Velverdyva Trade Route (Living Greyhawk Metaregion 2):
Ekbir (Official LG fansite - this is in French)
Ket
Sultanate of Zeif (Official LG fansite)
The Free and Independent City of Dyvers (Official LG fansite)
Tusmit (Official LG fansite)
Veluna (Official LG fansite)
Viscounty of Verbobonc (Official LG fansite)

Iuz's Border States (Living Greyhawk Metaregion 3):
Bandit Kingdoms (Official LG fansite)
Highfolk (Official LG fansite)
Kingdom of Furyondy (Official LG fansite)
Perrenland (Official LG fansite)
Shield Lands (Official LG fansite)

Nyrond and Her Environs (Living Greyhawk Metaregion 4):
Archbarony of Ratik (Official LG fansite)
County of Urnst (Official LG fansite)
Duchy of Urnst (Official LG fansite)
Kingdom of Nyrond (Official LG fansite)
Theocracy of the Pale (Official LG fansite)

Splintered Suns (Living Greyhawk Metaregion 5):
Bone March (this region has no LG fansite)
Dullstrand (Official LG fansite)
Onnwal (Official LG fansite)
Principality of Innspa and Marchland of the Adri Forest (Official LG fansite - this website is in German)
Principality of Innspa and Marchland of the Adri Forest (Official LG fansite - this is the English translation of the website)
Principality of Naerie (Official LG fansite)
Sea Barons (Official LG fansite)
Sunndi (Official LG fansite)

Spelljammer
Spelljammer.org

This should be:
Spelljammer
Beyond the Moons (Official fansite)

I've got some more Spelljammer and Ravenloft links. You can either surf over to my Yahoo links (see my sig) or I'll post them next time I'm online.

BTW: You put the mailing list down for Mystara, but not the other D&D campaign settings. WotC have been kind enough to provide mailing lists for most settings.

The mimir hasn't been updated in ages. If someone with a love for 2e Planescape and will wanted to, erm, find the host and get a rip of the site, it would be AWESOME to add new stuff to.

Just uh, throwin that out there.

You forgot to mention Forgotten Realms

No, I didn't forget; I intentionally left out the Realms and Eberron because they're not lumped in here with the rest of the "Other Published Worlds." I figured that anyone who's interested in those settings would go to the forums dedicated to those settings. But I've got nothing against them. Would anyone else like to see them added to the list in the first post?

I saw this in another thread:
Starting here, Tony DiTerlizzi has decided to draw new Planescape sketches, mostly as a warm-up exercise before he works on Spiderwick stuff. I love how he's imagined githyanki, the fiends, and the factions.

I realize that Tony DiTerlizzi's blog isn't a "setting-specific website," but I added the link to the Planescape list anyway, as I think it would be of interest to Planescape fans.

Hmm. It is a hard call. I think Forgotten Realms, Dragonlance and Ravenloft are all grey areas.

Dragonlance and Ravenloft often get referred to as out of print, despite the 3rd edition product lines they had from third party publishers. The MWP licence for DL was still active last month and they have some great products out there.

And Forgotten Realms often gets reffered to as in print, despite the fact that there is no 3rd edition support for Al-Qadim, Kara-Tur or Maztica. And poor old Candlekeep work their socks off to do fan support for FR and WotC don't give them "official" fansite status, so a lot of people don't know they exist.

I think FR needs a brief mention, if only to give the out of print parts of it some links.

PS: This needs to be added to the Dragonlance links:
Adlatum Campaign Setting (unofficial fan expansion for Dragonlance)

It's the best free PDF I've ever seen. (It is so good, it even beats some commercial D&D books that WotC sell.)

Ripping an existing Planescape fan site wouldn't be ethical (and probably wouldn't be legal) without the permission of the owner of the website.

But if the owner can't look after this website any more I'm sure that Planewaker would consider archiving it. They seem to be pretty cool people, so if there is not enough 2nd edition support, just contact them and have a chat.

Holy macaroni! There are so many here that I feel compelled to do the same thing with them that I did with the Living Greyhawk sites: hide them. I suppose if we get enough sites for the other worlds, I'll end up doing this with all of them, just to keep the list clean and readable.

I left the official fansite, Beyond the Moons, outside the block but put everything else in it. If other worlds end up with enough sites listed, I'll do the same with them.

Ah, didn't mean the host machine, meant the host fellow. But yeah, it was a great resource that's unfortunately stopped being updated as of... 2000?

Does anyone know whether the Living Greyhawk websites are going to remain up, now that the campaign has ended? The Onnwal site appears to be down now, but a couple of the others that I checked (Verbobonc, Sunndi) were still up - at least for now.
