I am getting ready to start a D&D 4e campaign using Dawnforge as my campaign setting. From all I know about it it just seems it is screaming for 4e goodness. The entire idea of how the setting works seems to be very attuned for 4e.

However, I wanted to ask those of you that are familiar with both 4e and Dawnforge how you would handle using this setting for your 4e campaign? How would you think of handling Dawnforge's races, classes, magic, setting nuances, etc?

Any opinions/comments would be greatly appreciated and thanks in advance!

Although I haven't DMed before I was playing with the idea of running my first campaign in Dawnforge and wanted to incorporate Bahamut and Tiamat as immortals. I was thinking that while people were settling Anderland and the Kingsmarch there was a conflict in Tamerland between followers of dragon immortals similar to Bahamut and Tiamat. Then all the races following Bahamut turned themselves into dragonborn and those of Tiamat turned to spawn of Tiamat and they duked it out. In the aftermath it created the Xanara Wastes and the dragonborn and spawns evolved into the lizardfolk. Howerever there still remains a small civilization of dragonborn that managed to travel to the eastern shores and thats how there are dragonborn
