#1HobbitFanOct 15, 2008 1:09:35 | Are any of you guys still running stuff in Mystara? Or is the setting of only academic interest now? |
#2havardOct 15, 2008 16:35:35 | Im running one game set in Blackmoor, 4000 years into Mystara's past and another set in GR's Freeport which I have placed somewhere in the Sea of Dread on Mystara. I also really enjoy the 'academic' part of the setting though Havard |
#3agathoklesOct 15, 2008 16:57:12 | Are any of you guys still running stuff in Mystara? Or is the setting of only academic interest now? Yes, many of us still run adventures and campaigns in Mystara: see the number of campaign chronicles found on the Vaults of Pandius. Myself, I almost exclusively run Mystara (OD&D or AD&D) when I'm the DM. GP |
#4HobbitFanOct 15, 2008 22:36:14 | sounds good guys |
#5CmdrCorsikenOct 16, 2008 22:08:36 | Myself, I almost exclusively run Mystara (OD&D or AD&D) when I'm the DM. Same here, although I use 3.5. I am next in line to run in our gaming group, so I'll be starting a Mystara campaign in about three months. A high-seas, island-hopping trek across the Sea of Dread. |
#6teepeekayOct 17, 2008 4:32:28 | Playing in a Hogwartsy Glantri Great School of Magic 3.5 campaign at the moment. A 4th ed. Hollow World explorers in an airship campaign is in the early planning stages ATM. |
#7havardOct 19, 2008 12:02:57 | Playing in a Hogwartsy Glantri Great School of Magic 3.5 campaign at the moment. That sounds like a fun campaign TeePeeKay! Did you ever post any details on this campaign anywhere? Havard |
#8teepeekayOct 19, 2008 12:30:35 | That sounds like a fun campaign TeePeeKay! Did you ever post any details on this campaign anywhere? Well, I didn't but our DM did, loads. There's a catch though, it's in Danish. So, for the Mystara-loving scandinavians and students of obscure languages out there: http://mgreis.wordpress.com/kampagne/ Enjoy! |

#18blu_skreemOct 28, 2008 13:23:09 | I've run 4th ed mystara for a while, but my Warriors of the Eternal Sun (Hollow World / Thunder Rifts RC) game will be starting next week thanks to some of the advise given by Harvard on another forum. There is a regular RC Known World game that goes on ever other week in my area, as well. |
#19addle-cove-anarchistOct 28, 2008 19:22:54 | Oh. *sigh* sigh? indeed it's FR, tough I've moved the location to Sespech |
#20havardOct 29, 2008 11:34:10 | sigh? No offence intended. Just not a big fan of FR that's all. Plus I was kinda hoping it was some obscure setting I hadn't heard about ;) Havard |
