Greetings, Mystarans, from the depths of the Land of Mists!

For those who remember me from the early days of the Mystara Message Board, it is I, Rotipher, writer of Hollow Moon stuff! Long time -- too long -- no see, gang.

For those who don't know me, pleased to meet you! I was a regular poster on the MMB, nearly ten years ago (*wow!*). Real-life obligations forced me to drop out of gaming for a while, after which I re-entered the hobby by way of an online Ravenloft campaign. Alas, once entered, the Land of Mists is not easily escaped: by the time I found the opportunity to resume writing material for TSR/WotC's worlds, I'd already become too immersed in Ravenloft to commit to work on Mystara as well. These days, I'm a moderator for the Fraternity of Shadows website.

But now, I have fought my way through the perilous Misty Borders of Ravenloft and back to the ol' MMB, bearing a Halloween treat for my other favorite D&D world's fans. A new netbook, no less ... one which Mystara fans will (I hope!) find interesting, for it features Ravenloft's token Mystaran darklord, the Alphatian necromancer Meredoth, and his eerie -- and eerily Mystara-like -- domain of Nebligtode. As the FoS moderator who knew the most about Mystara, it has been my pleasure and privilege to write all about the bitter old grump and his frigid realm, combining my love of these two classic game-settings into a single fan project. :D

What could be a better treat for Halloween than a chance to play "Spot-the-In-Joke-Reference" in a spooky new netbook? Come to our Library and download a copy of the Nocturnal Sea Gazetteer, to learn the truth about this exiled Mystaran baddie. Discover his infamous history, that marked him for a bad apple even among his fellow Alphatians, and see what manner of prison the infamous Dark Powers have wrought for him!

Happy Halloween, friends!
