I know that the Penhaligon Trilogy of novels does not follow any of the actual printed source material for the region. However, what I curious about is whether or not the other two books have little inserts and maps? I've read the first book and found it actually pretty enjoyable. I liked the 3 map inserts at the front of the book, well produced. I may just run a campaign based on the books and was wondering if the other books had map inserts as well. anyone know? |

I don't recall any maps or inserts, but I'm not going to trust my memory on that. :P I do know they were tied to the Thunder Rift setting, at least vaguely. DMR1: Dungeon Master Screen for the Rules Cyclopedia version of Basic D&D included an adventure, Escape from Thunder Rift which had some tie-in elements to the Penhaligon trilogy. Hope that helps. |

I've been looking for it, but I can't morally bring myself to support those who try to sell it for $70. Madness....but I digress. Thank you for your input! |

One of the clues that the PC's can find while researching the lost Temple of the Shield is a journal written by Johauna Menhir. |
