#1sweetmeatsJun 18, 2003 7:25:05 | With regards to the Wizard spell spreadsheet over on dragonlance.com, is there any chance of getting a version posted up that works in MS Works? *Fingers crossed* Thanx. |

I wish I could, but the main problem is that I don't have MS Works, and I don't know how to convert to a version compatible with MS Works. I've actually tried saving that spreadsheet as a Excel 5.0/95 version, but that seemed to cause some problems with all the nested IF functions I've been using to figure out moon alignments and such. Email me with any errors or warnings from MS works, and let's see if there's anything we can do. |

#6GranakrsJun 24, 2003 4:19:22 | Heh well, my thanks. but the work was a group effort. someone else sent me the original over 4 years ago. and a person named Chris McLaughlin modernized that by converting some of the functions to better ones. My part in the whole thing was reworking everything to figure out when the bonuses apply. :D Still, I'm tempted to improve on it. a part of me really dislikes seeing January or Monday on that thing. I'd rather prefer Krynnish months and days. But then we have so many given in the 5th age box set. Elves, kender dwarves, goblin, Ergoth, solamnia, the plains. And anything done right should let the user choose which group. |
