#5primemover003Jun 28, 2003 16:16:28 | I know I bought the original boxed set in 94, but the copyright in mine says 93... curious. ARG... Pages of pain was the other novel I forgot! Well pretty damned good from memory though! |

#7primemover003Jun 29, 2003 14:35:16 | Actually I didn't like the Bloodwar trilogy or Pages of Pain. They both tried to explain the lady and how sigil works, which IMO is a no-no for the setting. These things are supposed to be mysteries, and I think it serves the whole feel of the setting if they stay that way. While I never played torment, I thought the book was wonderful, simple and self-contained. Monte Cook wrote a FR novel called "The Glass Prison" that was damned good too (deals with a Cambion). |
