#1zombiegleemaxJun 29, 2003 18:37:02 | Hey guys, Just a couple of quick questions: 1. What are the GH maps you use most often? (The standard ones that came in the two "World of Greyhawk" boxed sets or perhaps the map that came in the Living Greyhawk setting?) 2. Those standard maps; are they supposed to be a mercator (sp?) projection? 3. Anyone have a beef with setting up Greyhawk city as Longitude 0 (and therefore GMT = Greyhawk Mean Time)? |

You'll get some excellent info about how the longitude, latitude, time zones, etc. work. Also, FWIW, my Darlene maps from the Greyhawk folio see the most use from among all of my maps (they were also reprinted in the 1983 Greyhawk box set and the 1992 From the Ashes box set). These maps remain my favorites overall, since they're the largest and most detailed (they're two engineering size E sheets of paper [33" x 44" or 864mm x 1118 mm]), and on the heaviest paper. Among the contemporary maps, I like the Domain of Greyhawk map from Greyhawk: the Adventure Begins (1998) and the Living Greyhawk Gazetteer map (2000). And, it goes without saying that Eric's maps on Canonfire! and Maldin's maps from LGJ 2 and his web site are matchless as well! |

Roger Moore's article brought up a few interesting ideas, that I think I might go for IMC too, just to confuse my poor players. |
