#1sweetmeatsJul 09, 2003 13:48:18 | Could someone who has a copy of the DLCS please post a list of which prestige classes are in the DLCS, and brief (not too much in the way of spoilers please) on what they do? Also, are there any plans on having a gladiator PrC? One of my players wants a minotaur gladiator when start using 3.5 in our next campaign. Thanx to anyone who can help on either count. |
#2zombiegleemaxJul 09, 2003 15:06:38 | I think there's a gladiator prestige class in Sword and Fist. If there's no DL specific one, perhaps this one will suit your needs. |
#3sweetmeatsJul 09, 2003 17:38:08 | Aye. If nothing else, I may have to go with the S&F one. I think a Krynnish Gladiator PrC would be fitting, either from a Minotaur perspective or perhaps in a sourcebook showcasing the age of Istar. Thanx. |

#5sweetmeatsJul 10, 2003 9:43:41 | Thanx for that. Appriciated. I was hoping that there would be a few more than that, but no matter. |
#6zombiegleemaxJul 10, 2003 10:45:47 | Originally posted by SweetMeats We did have a Gladiator PrC in the book, but since it was pretty much teh one from S&F, they decided to go ahead and cut it (although they had told us to put it in), since I believe they're revamping it for 3.5, but I'm not completely sure. #7sweetmeatsJul 10, 2003 10:49:13 | Will a Gladiator PrC will be made for DragonLance, or should I just use the WotC one? |
#8zombiegleemaxJul 10, 2003 10:57:00 | Originally posted by SweetMeats 2 new base classes + 12 PrCs (You forgot the Legendary Tactician)... that's quite a bit. The FRCS only has 13 PrCs ;) Christopher |
#9zombiegleemaxJul 10, 2003 10:58:28 | Originally posted by SweetMeats For now, go ahead and use the WotC one. We might do one up when we cover the Age of Istar/Legends era of play Christopher |

#11zombiegleemaxJul 11, 2003 5:36:39 | Ahhhhh! Where's my gnome tinkerer! -Robert |
#12sweetmeatsJul 11, 2003 5:42:04 | Oops... I had completely forgotten about the Tinkerer. Shouldn't that have been in the DLCS? Or will that wait until the races book? |
#13zombiegleemaxJul 11, 2003 8:42:35 | Originally posted by Robert N. *sniffles* It got cut... along with my entire appendix on Gnomish Invention Creation rules. Without the appendix, the Master Tinkerer was superfluous. *sniffles* But, fear not! They are not forgotten! Christopher |
#14sweetmeatsJul 11, 2003 10:38:55 | I think racial PrC's have their place in DL but then I imagine that you could fill an entire book with DL specific/DL race specific prestige classes. |
#15zombiegleemaxJul 11, 2003 10:41:58 | Any chance you can get said Invention creation and PrC made up as a web enhancement that will later go into the races book? Please and stuff? Gnomes make me happy! |
#16zombiegleemaxJul 11, 2003 10:45:35 | Originally posted by SweetMeats Aye, you'd be quite correct. Which is why we're trying to be pretty selective of where we put them, otherwise they'd be scattered willy nilly across all of our products. In the end, I think it's best that all racial specific PrCs were confined to a single product, with only a few exceptions appearing in products in which they are absolutely necessary. Christopher |

#18talinthasJul 11, 2003 12:55:11 | don't worry chris, you arent alone in mourning the loss of the gnome invention appendix. Oh well. it gives me something to look forwards to once the joy of the DLCS and AoM wears off =) |
#19zombiegleemaxJul 11, 2003 15:45:00 | Web Enhancement :D Pleeeeeeease! I'll take you out for some chinese next time you're here in Alabama ;) -Robert |
