Okay. Should you be going through the document, and decide that you really can't resist combing through it for spelling mistakes and grammatical errors, this is where you get to show off your special brand of "genius"

(Hey, I failed every spelling test I ever took in elementry school. I'm allowed to be bitter at those of you who actually like that sort of thing.)

However, to make it useful to me, here's what you gotta do:

For every correction you make, I need a page number, and some context. Seeing the old version is good too.

Example:

Page 7, "Alignment"
- those who threaten them or stand their way
+ those who threaten them or stand in their way

Probably a redundant remark, but there are no bookmarks in the current download.

(It looks great, by the way - wonderful work, folks!)

These are not spelling errors, but probably next thing close to it.

Alak needs (*) descriptor to be added in weapon list.
(+2 for disarm)

p34, last paragraph:
The weapons in the following charts are generally designed to be constructed from non-metal materials; as such, they do not suffer from the “inferior materials ” penalties described above.

In paragraph above, “inferior materials ” penalties are not descrived at all.
If fact, I can't find any rule about inferior materials in this doc.

Master’s Whip description reads:
Unlike normal whips, the master ’s whip deals damage normally, has only a ten-foot range...

But, in weapons table it has range of 15ft?

New powers introduced in the Dark Sun 3e psionic powers which are scalable include: lesser static discharge, bioelectric touch, static discharge, and greater static discharge. Examples of powers which are not scalable include biocurrent, which does damage over multiple rounds, recall death, which does damage as a secondary effect, or powers like hammer, destiny dissonance, bioelectric touch, dissipating touch, and dissolving touch which grant a psionically enhanced attack that deals damage but does not cause damage as the primary function of the power.

Bioelectric touch is both in scaling and in non-scaling list?
(I assume it should be in non-scaling list only)

Defilers will often augment their spellcasting power further by choosing the Path Sinister, Agonizing Radius and Efficient Raze feats, and many eventually take levels in the Arch Defiler prestige class.

What is reference to Arch Defiler PrC doing in core documents???

Wild Reflex power is in psiwarrior power list, but that power does not exsist anymore.

Sorry if I am flogging a dead kank, but wasn't there a decision recently to remove power scaling from DS Core? I recall reading about this but just ran a quick search and couldn't find it...

That was for a future plan, based on how Bards & Sorcerers gain spells in 3.5, plus after a little playtesting.

Upgrading, not scaling.

Not a spelling error, but :

Race - Pterran Entry p.12
Favored Creature Entry

Overlooked thing when it was decided to make Rangers as 3.5 or it's been voluntarily been left there? (That would explain why the bonus are written there...)

Not sure this fits here.. But anyway.. I noticed that Wild Charge(ing?) is in the power list, but not in the power descriptions...

The druid's animal companion rules have changed, which likely means you will need to alter the animal companion given to the Half-Elf as well.

Kesh, there is a different thread for that kind of feedback. Still, we're aware of it. Thanks.

Astrologer feat gives +2 to Intuit Direction skill, which is obsolate in 3.5e.

Nagypapi: Already taken care of. And again, this is not the thread for that kind of feedback. This thread is about typos and spelling mistakes.

I downloaded the 16 meg. pdf yesterday, and it was there. Is it really 'already taken care of'? ;)

To clarify: It's already taken care of in our working copy. We won't post a 3.5 update until we have made all the relevant changes.

hey just a quick question.

Do you know when the 3.5 will come out? Or if now how far along are you guys in converting it?

I'm going to start a DS game soon and I'm hoping the 3.5 will come out in the next week so I wont have to convert everything.

Thanks!

Page 42: Black Market Equipment

- Liquid Darkness: Anyone struck directly by liquid darkness must make a DC 20 reflex save; failure dictates that they are blinded for one minute. Those splashed with liquid dust have their vision blurred...

+ ...those splashed with liquid darkness...

- Liquid Light: ...Creatures splashed with Liquid Light (see grenade rules) also glow in the darkness, but are not blinded.

+ maybe change to "...glow in the dark..."? "Glow in the darkness" sounds kind of odd.

Plus, why a reference to grenade rules in only the liquid light description, and none of the other splash globes? Should probably add a page number for the grenade rules as well, like is done with two weapon fighting rules several times in the EQ section.

Page 43: Athasian resistance to temperatures:

- Elves are particularly resiliant to temperature extremes. Elves do not suffer ill effects from very hot temperatures.

+ Elves do not suffer ill effects from hot temperatures.

- ...Likewise, they are unaffected by cold temperatures, and are affected by extreme cold as other are by cold.

+ ...affected by extreme cold as others are by very cold.

Page 44: Mounts and Vehicles.

There is a paragraph on magic, "The sources of magic in the Dark Sun campaign setting are very different..." in this section. It should be moved to the chapter on magic?

On page 29, Wizards: Background, it says "Defilers have no such support structure; once they leave their master, they are left to their own means for survival. Some learn enough of preserving that they can practice some of the secrecy that preservers enjoy"
Then on page 45, The Corruption of Power, it says "A defiler is incapable of preserving."
This seems contradictory.
There is also no mention of proximity to a Tree of Life in the arcane spells section. Is that just considered to be casting in abundant terrain?

Page 50, Rolling Thunder domain spells, Command should be bolded.
