#1DragonhelmJul 17, 2003 12:48:18 | I was wondering if anyone here ever used any unique or unusual dragonlances in their games. For example, have you ever used a flaming dragonlance, or one that caused frost damage? What sort of special qualities have you added to your dragonlances? |
#2jonesyJul 17, 2003 14:12:02 | We had the lance of Paladine. It was vorpal and caused fear in chromatic dragons. It was pure white in color and never stained. The knight in the party had fun time with it until Paladine came and, politely but sternly, asked if he could have it back. :D |

#4zombiegleemaxJul 17, 2003 17:20:50 | My old DL group once had what we called the "Solar Lance." It's power was basicly double that of a "Heavy Lance" in power if the sun light touched it. In an overcast it would be a regular dragonlance, though it would retain it's full power for a limited duration after being in direct sunlight for a length of time. You can't have a dragonlance thats to powerful. It was also an intellagent weapon with an eccentric personality :D . |

#6zombiegleemaxJul 18, 2003 4:07:21 | I once made use of a dragonlance that dealt electricity damage, however that was never really much good in the campaign. An interesting alternate type I created for my post 'War of the Lance' campaign had the ability to deal sonic blast (epic ability) damage. I think the PC who made use of this weapon still uses it in his other campaigns sometimes. |
