In the past, i made 2 bigs(8 pages of 35x25 cm) DM screen for greyhawk for 1st and 2nd edition. There was plenty of beautiful illustration related to greyhawk on the players side and plenty of useful info for me on dm side. I found the str stuff too small and not exhaustive.
I stpped to play for 3 years and we decided to re-play with 3rd edition. I still have the same opinion about tsr/wotc screen,but i dont have the time to photocopy hundreds of tables on dozens of books.
Does anybody have made his master screen greyhawk related, or 3rd edition exhaustive anywhere and would scan it? it would be very nice.
Maybe it's aleady available on some greyhawk site, but i don't know ( if not, it would be a good idea to do it)

This is an AWESOME idea and concept. I like it. As Downloads Editor for CanonFire.com I really like it. I'll even help you create and build a D&D 3.0/3.5 DM Screen, and we can have CF host it even further....but here is the even better part...as an editor I can offer special CanonFire! owned artwork. VShane has done two custom prints for our useage (hopefully he'll be able to do the 3rd as well), and we also own prints from LPJ Design that can go on the cover of a Greyhawk DM Screen.

Jul 28, 2003 19:24:40 IIRC various folks over at ENWorld have created 3e DM screens, since the WotC ones aren't so hot. I would check there to see who's done what, then use that as the basis to choose tables, etc.

Then add in all of the Greyhawk relevant data, of course! :D

Some scan of Toee(1st) , gord cover books, manual of the plane, vaulto of the drow ; even small pictures of character (like morden on morden fantastic adv cover) can be cutted and glued on other picture (i made it before). Of course recent and quality works can be used but i don't know them! ;)
On the other side a good little map of the flaness, of his dirigeant, (in greyhawk city or in the whole world) and any useful info on all greyhawk books (8 pages offers lot of rooms, and itgive s you lot of ideas during play, without cutting the game)
i will exhume my old Screen too see what i can take ;)

Apr 17, 2004 19:32:03 Yeesh, I just finished my Greyhawk screen and it took longer than expected...

A few color photocopies here, clear tape instead of lamination, black electrical tape to use in between the panels for bendiness, and wala!

Very tiring but my players will love it.

Plus, I haven't really been happy with any of the Wotc/Tsr screens to date, (no weapons stats, etc)

Decided to go with more current 3rd ed. Gazatteer map.

cy- wise, the current 'Shield Lands' sound like a lark to adventure in...

Or, you can decorate your screens with beautiful "chatdemon's stick figure theater" murals. Kid tested, mother approved!

Nothing GOOD can come from ChatDemon Stickfigures - so they can not be kid tested and mother approved. They might be tested on kids, and subsequently banned by the government.
In anycase, I doubt these nice gentlemen would want ChatDemon on anything that they would put hard time into. Futhermore, as your Sig says, Greyhawk For the People By the People, ChatDemon stickfigures are ChatDemon Stickfigures By ChatDemon Being Mocked the People. So I suppose they could be useable. As such, please make sure that there is a link for the People to download them, place them on their Greyhawk DM Screen's so that the stickfigures can be mocked.
In fact, I'm so happy to help anything Greyhawk, I'm willing to host them on my server. You know where to upload them, do so, and provide us with a link.
