#1zombiegleemaxJul 31, 2003 20:58:59 | A question here for the Whitestone Council or anyone at Sovereign Press - I've noticed that in a couple of recent threads the Irda have been described as "almost extinct, but no quite". I'm assuming this refers to the pure Irda who dwelt on the hidden island north of Palanthas, destroyed in Dragons of Summer Flame . In the present day 5th Age, do the 2,000 or so Mischta ( Twilight Irda ) of Selasia, in the Spine of Taladas island chain, still exist? ( as presented in DL9278 - Otherlands ). Come to think of it, are the Nzunta ( Dark Irda ) still out there somewhere as well? As a sidenote, if the Mischta of Selasia do survive into the present day, what would be the best way to handle Mischta PCs ( who should be more numerous, and thus more viable as characters, than Irda ) in terms of racial statistics? I'm assuming that one could use the Irda description in the DLCS, changing favoured class from Wizard to Cleric ( since the Mischta aren't quite as magically talented as the Irda, but more fervent in their worship of the good deities). Any comments on this matter would be much appreciated! |
#2ferratusAug 01, 2003 0:23:42 | Originally posted by Twilight Herald There was also Irda wandering around Ansalon in secret, so they would have survived as well. The Irda of that island whose name I cannot remember, were probably one of dozens of isolated communities, hidden away from the rest of the world. As for the Irda as refered to in Otherlands, I'm pretty sure Sovereign Press is going to be completely neutral towards them. Thus, you can do with all the lands in that product as you wish, without worry of being contradicted later.
Sounds perfect. I don't think you need to do any other tinkering besides that. |
