#1zombiegleemaxAug 04, 2003 10:25:13 | This resource was posted elsewhere, but I wanted to put it on this board as well. The Everchanging Book of Names is a name generator resource. After checking out the Greyhawk name chapters for a while yesterday, I thought I'd mention it here for anyone who might need it. Not sure how well the names fit the flavor of what I've done for my own naming resources in Greyhawk, but it might help some of you. Download it here |
#2ArgonAug 04, 2003 10:57:59 | Thanks for the thread Jagermeister. I found it a usable resource. |
#3ArgonAug 09, 2003 11:21:46 | Jaigermeister, I've downloaded the program but can only view the core chapter. It doesn't list the greyhawk names I downloaded could you tell me how you got to view them. |
#4chatdemonAug 09, 2003 17:37:07 | Make sure you downloaded and unzipped the greyhawk 'chapters' into the EBoN folder. so you should have the program files, the 'core' folder and the 'greyhawk' folder all in one directory. Works fine for me once I did that. |
#5zombiegleemaxAug 10, 2003 0:06:43 | Yes, do exactly what chatdemon just said. I had the same problem when I first downloaded it. |
#6ArgonAug 10, 2003 21:38:19 | Chatdemon & Jagermeister, thanks for your help. I can see the chapters on all the names. Great resources for names, makes naming of PCs as well as NPC's simple. I chose to use the latin names for the Scarlet Brotherhood, but the other names seem pretty close to what I've done in my campaign. |

#9zombiegleemaxApr 05, 2006 17:20:39 | Wow. This sure got dragged up from the depths of the message board Abyss. And yeah, family names and anagrams of them... |
#10extempusApr 06, 2006 22:03:28 | I tend to prefer using Hebrew, Greek and Latin names myself, but every little bit helps... |
