What would her stats be? I suppose she would be a 20th level cleric / 20th level fighter (or something like that). Would she retain her power and 'class' levels? Or does she need to begin again from first level? If she has cleric levels, I suppose she cannot be a cleric of herself? An adept perhaps? And when she regains her godhood (if possible), she converts the adept levels to cleric levels? |

Manifest has become "unhinged" and materializes on various different worlds. Takhisis tries to use the city to become a god again. The heroes MUST stop this from happening. Unfortunately, I'm still a few months away from running the game (other games in progress and not enough time in the day). I'd love to hear how ryour game is going from time to time. |
#3zombiegleemaxAug 10, 2003 11:58:16 | It will still take a little while before my campaign starts since our group has currently three (non-DL) ongoing campaigns. I also have to get the DLCS and the AoM books. I'm guessing it will not start before november-december ... I though about using the city of Manifest but I haven't found a suitable location for it. I though to place it beneath the surface and let it be accessible through the destroyed temple of Takhisis in Neraka. I would like to remain with the pure DL feeling and since the city was never mentioned before, it would be a bit strange if it 'surfaces' now. |

#5zombiegleemaxAug 10, 2003 15:19:35 | I thought about that after my post. but wouldn't takhisis also have cleric levels (from previous ages) or do gods (and mortals ?)just switch when they enter a new age and the gods disappear/reappear ? If she was a cleric 20 fighter 20 blackguard 10 in 4th age, would she still have 20 cleric levels in the 5th age or would she become a mystic 20 fighter 20 blackguard 10 ? |
#6zombiegleemaxAug 10, 2003 16:35:02 | Hmmm.....since the Mystic can choose any domains it would almost be appropriate that a god(dess) would have mystic levels rather than cleric. Cool idea there. |
#7talinthasAug 10, 2003 17:49:05 | well, the simple reasoning is as follows. if tak is a cleric, who is she drawing magic from? can you honestly see her bending her pride to pray to sargonnas? |
#8shugiAug 11, 2003 0:23:39 | Deities/Demigods and Powers/Pantheons stat a few gods with levels of cleric. Essentially, a god gets its cleric abilities from "serving" an abstract cause or philosophy, although it'd probably be different from what pops in your head when you hear "serving". Of course, as a mortal Tak couldn't use these powers - this is primarily to explain any gods with "cleric" levels. Since Tak is a mortal, I'd let her make the transition to mystic - although Noble20/RighteousZealot10 has a certain appeal to it, if Tak lost her spellcasting (as I'm sure she and Paladine did). It happened for balance reasons, after all -- I don't think the gods would make THAT big of a mistake. |

#10zombiegleemaxAug 11, 2003 8:52:02 | Takhisis is a shapechanging goddess, in my opinion she should retain the possibility to change among three forms: 20 liv fighter 20 liv enchantress 20 hd fiveheaded dragon |
