#1 impy_and_chimpy_dup Aug 10, 2003 6:32:29	This is something of an open-ended thread. Anything related to fixed fortifications of Greyhawk is fair game. For example, what castles have you explored, built, or defended in your time as an adventurer? Have you personally mapped any of these? Which were the most interesting for you? Which would you like to explore?
#2 zombiegleemax Aug 16, 2003 3:54:50	The weirdest castle I ever explored was near old Blackmoor. An enormous moat surrounded high walls and four towers on each corner. Once we managed to bring down the drawbridge, we found only a large (and I mean large) courtyard. No buildings, stables, nothing. We found a single staircase leading to a lower level that consisted of a single enormous room, maybe 100x100 with a forty foot ceiling. Again, the whole palce was empty. The drawbridge was sized for humanoids (not giants) so we were never sure what it was that we had found. Even today, the place stands empty and silent. Weird.
