#1AeoliusAug 10, 2003 19:05:23 | (cross-posted at GreyTalk) I have begun preliminary notes, for a 3-part adventure which will take PCs from L1-9. The campaign will be set primarily underwater, in the oceans of Oerth. "Turucambi" will take players from L1-3, "The Jungle of Lost Ships" will be a L4-6 adventure, and "The Sinking Isle" will be for levels 7-9. Excerpts from the Living Greyhawk Gazetteer: (pg. 18) "...this realm is probably connected in some manner with the famous and haunting Aerdi tales of a 'Sinking Isle' in the same location." (Referring to region of the Sea Barons) (pg. 69) "...the legendary Archmage, Lendore...half of Lo Reltarma's population escaped through the Gate of Glass." (Lendore Isles) (pg 72) "Elf-crewed Lendorian ships have sunk three Lordship vessels in the last six months..." (Lordship of the Isles) (pg 98) "...'Black Brotherhood', a sect devoted to entropy (Tharizdun)...New breeds of monsters created in the Olman Islands are rumored to have taken over part of one island." (Scarlet Brotherhood) (pg. 99) "...uninhabited (and possible cursed) Serpent Isle." (Sea Barons) (pg 149) "...sea monsters...giant octopi...Sharks of unbelievable size...Hobgoblin pirates..." (The Oljatt Sea) (pg. 150) "Fantastic islands, undersea kingdoms, terrifying aquatic and aerial monsters, and a 'jungle of lost ships' fill most fables told by old sailors of his sea." (In reference to the Solnor Ocean) So, what other tidbits seem appropriate? Aeolius |
