Just use the psywarrior PP progression and stuff and change the power list to one fitting rogue-like characters (i.e. make the DS bard the psyrogue the same way the standard bard is the rogue-sorcerer). And add the alchemy stuff and the elimination of the 5% of misapplying poison for kicks. Should work nicely, but I'd rather be lazy and use someone else's work :D |

The athasian forces are arcane, divine, or psionic, I don't like adding more versions in. Look at the back of the tyrian conspiracy module. They list a converted assasin prestige class that uses psionics instead of magic. The psionic list for a bard would obviously be difference, but the principle would be the same. You could use that as a foundation. Personally, I would like the idea better than the current implementation in DS3 which seems a bit to "rogue-like" for my tastes. It's not a bad class, but I think it would be cooler with a light psionic track. You could also tie in the bard song abilities as a psionic manifestation. |
