#1zombiegleemaxAug 13, 2003 19:33:23 | Im just curious as to who all on these boards actually has their own copy of the DLCS? Age of Mortals? |
#2zombiegleemaxAug 13, 2003 19:37:54 | 22nd of August (or that's what they parrot at the RPG stores)... Arandur |
#3zombiegleemaxAug 13, 2003 19:43:27 | Originally posted by Arandur Okay....I know when it's coming.....what I want to know is who all has it already. |
#4shugiAug 13, 2003 20:06:52 | I have it, and it's a pretty safe bet that Dragonhelm, Andre, Cam, Paladin, Kipper, Stormprince, and jechambers have it -- they signed my DLCS and/or AoM, after all. Other than that, I have no clue, except for Talinthas... and I seem to be missing someone from the list above. |
#5zombiegleemaxAug 14, 2003 1:54:02 | I have DLCS and would have the AoM if I was a 5th ager. I'm not but will probably still pick the book up in the future. |
#6talinthasAug 14, 2003 2:04:08 | AoM is worth it, even if you arent a fifth ager. the level of detail given to the cities of ansalon has never been matched. |
#7B-naaAug 14, 2003 5:07:50 | I have both the Age of Mortals and the Dragonlance Campaign Setting. |
#8Los_GrakAug 14, 2003 7:49:01 | I've got my copies of both DLCS and AoM, signed by Margaret and Tracy and all the guys at the Nexus. GenCon was good to me! |
#9daedavias_dupAug 14, 2003 8:31:15 | Originally posted by Shugi I think Brimstone sent his with DH to have all the signing and what not. I am not sure, so if I am wrong please correct me. |
#10DragonhelmAug 14, 2003 8:57:35 | Originally posted by Daedavias Yeah, I picked up copies of the DLCS and AoM for Brim at GenCon, as well as a DLCS for Rooks. My book bag was stuffed! |
#11zombiegleemaxAug 14, 2003 9:10:53 | I have DLCS & AoM, and there both Great :D |
#12rooksAug 14, 2003 9:56:04 | Yup, I have a DLCS. As far as the age of Mortals goes, I am HYPER excited about it. However, I simply cannot afford to buy it at full price. So I won't be ordering a signed copy. I got a TON of signatures in my DLCS anyway! :D I'll be going through other channels to snag a copy of the AoM, but rest assured, Sov. Press has made a loyal consumer out of me. They are practically guaranteed my dollars on just about anything Dragonlance! Peace! |
#13zombiegleemaxAug 14, 2003 11:07:12 | I have both, I picked them up at GenCon. Got them signed by the people that were at the booth the day I got them. I'll just have to wait till next year to grab everyone's signatures! I haven't played in years and , to my dismay, the group that I used to play with always used Forgotten Realms as a setting. Trying to get a group together now. I'll be pushing for a Dragonlance setting this time! ~Khrystyne |
#14zombiegleemaxAug 14, 2003 12:02:45 | I got the DLCS in the mail about a month ago, and I should be getting in the AoM in a couple of days, me am happy. |
#15brimstoneAug 14, 2003 12:03:15 | Originally posted by Daedavias Yep...that's right. I've got them. Working on an unofficial errata for the DLCS (and depending on how it goes, the AoM, too) for myself...maybe I can get the Nexus to put it up for me, if people were interested in it. I just finished Chapter 4 last night...so I'm bookin' right along. :D |
#16talinthasAug 14, 2003 12:53:17 | surprisingly enough, both books are really sparse on errors... |
#17brimstoneAug 14, 2003 13:03:59 | Originally posted by talinthas Yep. I probably have...oh...well, I don't know, a page and a half so far (which isn't many) from the first 4 chapters...and they're really nit-picky (but that's the point of an errata, ain't it? ;)) Although I am leaving spelling errors out of it, unless it's a proper noun. Also...I'm trying to avoid anything that is "canon" related or is an obvious retcon. Specifically I'm just looking for...well...mistakes. heh heh And you're right...they are few and far between. |
#18talinthasAug 14, 2003 13:18:51 | the only thing that keeps glaring at me is the female half orc mystic =) |
#19brimstoneAug 14, 2003 13:21:47 | Originally posted by talinthas What pages is that on, by the way? |
#20talinthasAug 14, 2003 13:25:46 | page 172. It looks like the minotaur is glaring right at the error |
#21zombiegleemaxAug 14, 2003 13:29:24 | I have the DLCS. LOVE it. Waiting patiently for the AoW to make it to my local book store. I might have to call and request they get it sooner though. ;) |
#22brimstoneAug 14, 2003 13:30:50 | Originally posted by talinthas Thanks! Just wanted to make sure I hadn't missed it. And I didn't...I'm not there yet. heh heh |
#23Los_GrakAug 14, 2003 15:25:49 | I read in your post that you're looking for a few players for DL? Well, I'm also here in Indy. I'm interested in playing in a game, but not running one. I haven't played in several years, and it's difficult to find any other players. Drop me a line and we'll try to set things up. |
#24zombiegleemaxAug 14, 2003 20:42:59 | Line has been dropped! |
#25daedavias_dupAug 14, 2003 21:10:04 | Unless Jamie is a liar(and he's not) I should have mine by the middle of next week(complete with my incorrect quote). |
#26zombiegleemaxAug 15, 2003 13:03:35 | I've had my DLCS for a few weeks now... Age of Mortals I decided to delay getting until Key of Destiny is released. |
#27randpcAug 15, 2003 15:56:47 | I have the DLCS reserved at my local gaming store, so it'll be mine on the 22nd. I can't justify the cost of the AOM, and I play 4th age so I'm very dubious about getting the AOM but I'll at least take a look and see if I consider it worth it. |
#28talinthasAug 15, 2003 16:05:03 | will your game be on ansalon? In flotsam? Khuri Khan? Beacon? Tarsis? Solanthus? Kalaman? Sylvanost? Will your campaign have gods? At least look it over. AoM is an invaluable resource. |
