#1zombiegleemaxAug 15, 2003 12:16:54 | This post continues in my personal DS projects. It is the second that I have modified, the first is found here . Pleas post comments. I am interested to hear everyone's feedback about this idea. Only read this if you are interested in a discussion about this psionic system please. This is NOT intended to be a discussion on what should be done in the official DS3 psionic system. This is my alternative, and anyone here is free to use this, and modify it as they please. I do have a few semi-legal statments: if you do make modifications to this system, let this board know so that it stays somewhat in the public domain. Also, do not take this work as your own, especially since I can't claim this idea isn't derivative of WotC's previous works. UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED PSIONS AND PSYCHIC WARRIORS BEHAVE AS DESCRIBED IN DS3 The Psion |
#2zombiegleemaxAug 18, 2003 7:23:23 | Any problems or complaints with this system? Or does everyone here just think this system is too hopeless to even coment on? |
#3zombiegleemaxAug 22, 2003 7:04:48 | Wow, no reply at all. This must mean that nobody here really likes this idea. :D |
#4zombiegleemaxAug 22, 2003 8:43:45 | I don't have the psionics handbook, so I can't tell how much is new, and what the changes mean. Did you feel the psionics handbook was lacking? |
#5zombiegleemaxAug 22, 2003 13:02:56 | Originally posted by Xeros I felt that the psionic system in the Psionics Handbook did a very poor job at handling psionic combat, and making a psion's choice of specialization seem as important as it should be. I think that this system makes the psion much more specialized. I also think that this system makes psionic combat more important. A reason that this system looks like the magic system is because I wanted those two systems to be easily mixed. :D Most Psionic enchantments are ad-hoc. I wanted to make them "mixable" from the get-go. |
