Two answers:
1.) Pronounced it 'Solmania' from the late 1980's to 1995, when I heard Weiss speak the word at a convention I had attended. I think she said 'Solomn-nia', but I'm not sure. I've avoided the spoken word ever since out of fear of inadvertantly conferring upon their order the responsibility of lording over all salami-type lunch meats.
2.) I believe 'Solomn-nia', but I'm not sure. Changing Solomnia to Solmania, and Solomnic to Solmanic was the first in-house modification of Dragonlance I made.
I know, I know... solomn means something, solman does not...
