Just a heads up. I have been working on a new generator to generate Town stats, including all those random classes for each town. If you are world building for DL and need all those stats generated you can use this:

Dragonlance Town Generator

I have also made some changes to the Ansalon Distance Calculator. I added in some different speeds from the new DMG and I ajusted the size of the continent to 1,200 as per the DLCS. Remember it's not perfect, but it should give you a general idea of the distance "as the crow flies".

If you know of any other useful generators or have comments on these I'm open to feedback.

I really must have read my maps wrong. Some of my travel times have been well off.

Krynn is going to have to be a lot bigger in my games.

Heh. yeah this uses the 1,200 mile size, not the 3,600. :D

LOL, yeah, there isn't logic in there for determining that sort of thing and maybe their never will be. But I do have a bit of logic to increase the number of barbarians or mariners if it's a barbaric or port city, I guess I could add a toggle for all the classes to increase or decrease the amount of a certain class...

Just nitpicking, but Adepts and Aristocrats don't exist on Krynn, as stated on pg. 52 of the DLCS. Other than that, the generators are quite handy.

Do you just do a straight line from point a-b and also do you count in factors such as traveling through mountains, forests ... ?

Oops! Good catch, I'll have to fix that. Thanks for pointing it out.

It's just "As the crow flys" In a straight line from point A to point B. It doesn't factor in anything. So you have to do a little extra work to determine just how many more days to tack on to it.
